The Purdue HRPP/IRB utilizes the Purdue Excellence in Research (PERA) system for protocol submission.

Respond to IRB Revision Requests

Please respond promptly to the IRB with any requests for protocol revisions. Log in to PERA to make edits to your protocol.

Steps to Expedite Your Submission

Here are some tips to help researchers prepare their submission and speed up processing:

• Be certain that all key personnel on the study have completed required training before submitting an IRB protocol.
• Check recent updates and metrics to help anticipate the standard approval times.
• Utilize the Purdue IRB Training and Tools page to find researcher guides and information you can use to develop your protocols. This will also give you the dates and times for upcoming in-person training sessions.
• Contact us in advance. Our Chairs, Administrator, and Protocol Analysts will schedule virtual appointments to assist research teams. (Please see the Virtual Appointment Guidelines first.)
