IRB Meetings

The Purdue IRB generally meets twice a month on Tuesdays. Studies requiring review by the convened IRB committee (“full board”) must be received by 5:00 p.m. one week prior to the meeting date and must be fully prepared for review in order to be placed on the agenda. Submission by the due date does not guarantee review at that meeting, as clarifications may be required prior to IRB review.

These studies include those that are greater than minimal risk or do NOT meet the criteria for expedited review. Note that exempt and expedited protocol reviews are conducted on a rolling basis subject to designated reviewer availability.
